A transaction should become more specific as it moves closer to payment. This checklist shows the minimum commercial information JPNentry expects to clarify before a serious commitment.

Buyer checklist

  • Exact item / service / specification
  • Required quantity or participant count
  • Acceptable condition or substitution rules
  • Destination and required timing
  • Target price or commercial threshold where available
  • Delivery / Incoterm preference if relevant
  • Regulatory, qualification or documentation requirements
  • Who has authority to approve the order

Supplier / operator checklist

  • Exact item / service being offered
  • Genuine/OEM/aftermarket/used/refreshed condition clearly stated
  • Confirmed quantity versus orderable / estimated quantity
  • Unit price, currency and price basis
  • Lead time and quote validity
  • Payment terms
  • Cancellation / return / warranty basis where relevant
  • Export, transport or qualification limitations

JPNentry checkpoint before payment

Before requesting or recommending a commercial payment, JPNentry aims to have the key item/service, quantity, price basis, payment structure and material limitations documented in writing.

If any material point is still an estimate rather than confirmed, that distinction should be visible.
