JPNentry is enquiry-driven. We do not present a generic supplier directory as if it were confirmed stock.
- Exact requirement first
We begin from an exact part number, SKU, model, specification, quantity, condition requirement, destination and timing whenever available.
- Sourceability is separated from availability
A part being listed online does not mean it is available in the requested quantity. We distinguish between visible listings, supplier-confirmed stock, manufacturer/orderable quantity and estimated future supply.
- Specification is checked before substitution
Genuine/OEM, aftermarket, refreshed and used are treated as different commercial categories. We do not silently substitute one for another.
- Price basis is stated
Where possible, quotations identify whether pricing is Japan-side goods value, Ex-Warehouse / FCA / FOB / CIF or another basis. Freight, duties and third-party charges are separated unless explicitly included.
- Lead time is not invented
Lead time is presented as supplier-confirmed or estimated. If a manufacturer price or stock level must be reconfirmed at order time, that condition is disclosed.
- Export feasibility is a separate check
Dangerous goods, batteries, restricted items, oversized cargo and regulated products require a separate transport/export feasibility check. Product availability alone does not mean export is possible.
- Red flags are disclosed
Where a source, price, quantity, stock claim or commercial condition appears inconsistent, we flag it instead of presenting it as verified.
- Clear no-go is an acceptable result
If Japan is not commercially realistic for the requirement, JPNentry may return a no-go instead of forcing an unsuitable quote.
- Final transaction terms are written
Before a purchase commitment, the commercial basis should identify item/specification, quantity, unit price, currency, payment terms, lead time, validity, delivery basis and material limitations.
